Overview
Formation
The National Sports Arbitration Tribunal (NSAT) established according to Chapter Nine of Law No. 87 of 2017 of Sport. This establishment was due to the Kuwaiti legislative belief of the importance and the need of the existence of an independent national body to be responsible for resolving all sports disputes within the State of Kuwait through a system with global standards that provides its services efficiently, transparently, impartially, and quickly.
About NSAT
According to the Kuwaiti Sports Law, the provisions of the Olympic Charter, the statutes, regulations, rules and the requirements of national and international sports federations, as well as the relevant international standards and principles of the independence of the sport movement NSAT is an independent entity and has the jurisdiction to resolve all sports disputes whether through arbitration or mediation.
